A new museum in Warsaw: Chocolate Factory Museum [Praga]
Location: Fabryka Czekolady E.Wedel, al. Emila Wedla 5 Street (Praga), location on Google Maps. Open from September 4, 2024. This interactive museum tells the story of chocolate, where visitors can learn the secrets of chocolate production step by step. In addition to visiting the museum (individually or in groups), you can also sign up for workshops (individually or in groups) and organize a sweet birthday party there. This is a paradise for anyone who loves chocolate – not only will you be able to taste chocolate in the museum, but the tour takes place in unique chocolate aromas, which come to the museum from actual chocolate production lines that are part of the museum building! Is it worth visiting the Museum if I don’t speak Polish? Yes! The museum labels and captions are in both Polish and English. Apple Museum [Wola/city center]
Location: Apple Muzeum, Fabryka Norblina, Żelazna 51/53 Street (Wola/city center), location on Google map. The Apple Museum in Warsaw is a private museum with over 1700 exhibits presenting the evolution of Apple products and its history. The collection includes old computers, software, hardware, peripherals, posters, gadgets, magazines, etc. Guides can be booked for organized groups or individual visitors. The exhibits have plates with short descriptions in English, and more information is in the form of an audioguide in the museum application available on the phone, also in English. In addition, the museum has a lot of large-format graphics with descriptions in Polish and English, as well as interactive touch screens with descriptions, photos, and videos. Online tickets. Tickets can also be purchased on-site. Weekdays: regular tickets 45 PLN, reduced tickets 30 PLN, family ticket 2+2 / 2+3 120 PLN. Weekends: regular tickets 55 PLN, reduced tickets 40 PLN, family ticket 2+2 / 2+3 140 PLN. Free entrance for children up to 3 years old. The Ethnographic Museum [city center]
Location: Państwowe Muzeum Etnograficzne, Kredytowa 1 Street (city center). Free entrance on Thursdays. The exhibitions include folk costumes from Poland and from around the world, ritual accessories, fabrics, decorative ceramics, woodcarving, historic instruments, toys, paper cut-outs, etc. as well as temporary exhibitions. The Museum of Technology [city center]
Location: Narodowe Muzeum Techniki, the Palace of Culture and Science, pl. Defilad 1, entrance from Jerozolimskie Street (city center). Free entrance on Tuesdays. The Museum of Technology in Warsaw has been located in the Palace of Culture and Science building since 1955. The museum was reopened on February 1, 2022 after a 5-year hiatus due to financial problems and a change in the managing institution. The museum is gradually opening up – more permanent exhibitions will be opened in 2022. The exhibition of live spiders and scorpions [city center]
Location: the Palace of Culture and Science, pl. Defilad 1, entrance from Marszałkowska Street, open every day, 10 am – 7 pm, online tickets, children up to 4 free entrance. Each weekend (every hour on the hour), the visitors can hold a spider (the most gentle tarantula) in their hand and take close photographs with the assistance of an exhibition employee. The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum [city center]
Location: Muzeum Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie, Freta 16 Street (the Old Town). Free entrance on Tuesdays. More in English about the Museum.
The Warsaw Rising Museum [Wola district]

The Warsaw Railway Museum [Wola district]
Location: Stacja Muzeum, Towarowa 3 Street (Wola), open every day, 10 am – 6 pm. Free entrance on Mondays, children up to 7 free entrance. The museum is located in the former main train station in Warsaw, at the junction of three districts: Wola, Śródmieście, and Ochota. In addition to the exhibition inside the building (the history of railways in Poland and in the world), 50 rail vehicles built in different periods of history can be seen on the platforms of the former railway station. The Geological Museum [Mokotów district]
Location: Muzeum Geologiczne, Rakowiecka 4 Street, entrance from Wiśniowa Street (Mokotów). The Museum is open only on Sundays: 10 am – 3 pm, free entrance. There are mainly rocks and minerals displayed but kids will enjoy for sure some huge fossils, skeletons of Ice Age animals, a cave or model of a dinosaur featured in the Jurassic Park (Dilophosaurus). The Neon Museum [Praga district]
Location: Muzeum Neonów, Soho Factory, Mińska 25 Street, building no. 55 (Praga). The Neon Muzeum is dedicated to the documentation and the preservation of Cold War era neon signs. More in English about the Museum.
The Natural History Museum/Museum of Evolution [city center]

Museum of Life under Communism [city center]
Location: Muzeum życia w PRL, Piękna 28/34 Street, next to Plac (Square) Konstytucji (city center). The Museum presents how people used to live during communist times in Poland. There are few different sections where you can experience propaganda, lifestyle, politics or ordinary day from the times. The exhibition has descriptions in Polish and English.
