  • Re-open from May 8, 2021
  • Opening hours: Tuesday-Thursday (10 am – 6 pm), Friday 10 am – 8 pm, Saturday-Sunday 10 am – 6 pm
  • It’s recommended to buy tickets online (free entrance on Tuesday)
  • Audio-guides are available only online

How to get there?

  • The museum is located in the city center (Śródmieście district) close to Charles de Gaulle Roundabout (the one with the palm tree)
  • By car: The museum area is within paid parking zone. In front of the museum building, there is a very small parking lot. You can also park in Nowy Świat street
  • By public transport:
    • By bus: 111, 117,158, 507, 517, 521 (bus stop: Muzeum Narodowe) or 116, 128, 195, 180, 222, 503 (bus stop: Foksal)
    • By tram: 7, 8, 9,22, 24, 25 (tram stop: Muzeum Narodowe)

The Museum is closed on:

  • Every Monday

Tickets:

  • Permanent galleries
    • Regular ticket: 20 PLN
    • Reduced ticket: 10 PLN (eg. students, people over 65)
    • Children up to 7 years old free entrance
    • Free admission on Tuesdays (only to the permanent galleries)
  • Temporary exhibition (admission to the permanent galleries included)
    • Regular ticket: 25 PLN
    • Reduced ticket: 15 PLN (eg. students, people over 65)
    • Family ticket (for 2 adults and children up to 18 years old, max 6 people): 50 PLN
    • Children up to 7 years old free entrance
  • It is possible to buy tickets online
  • You can pay by card

Where to have lunch or coffee?

  • Inside the museum building (downstairs) there is a restaurant: Aleje 3, open from 10 am till the last guest
  • In the museum building, there is also a smaller venue (entrance from the outside, it’s located in the right part of the museum complex) Lorentz Café where you can have lunch, coffee, wine etc. If the weather permits, you can sit outside

Other relevant information:

  • There is the museum store where you can buy books (some available in English, also books for kids) and souvenirs
