‘A Thousand Years of Polish Arms’ Festival
Location: Wybrzeże Gdyńskie 6 Street (Żoliborz), Warownia/Viking Fortress Jomsborg, 11 am – 7.30 pm, tickets 10 PLN and 15 PLN. Attractions for kids include warriors and craftsmen shows, presentation of costumes and weapons, combat demonstrations, archery shows. ‘Wilanów Days’
Location: the area next to the Royal Wilanów, 11 am – 8 pm, free entrance. ‘Fairy Tale Day’ – the open-air event for children in Ochota

Cinema Dance Festival
Location: Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Emilii Plater 10, lok. PU3 (city center), 6 pm, free entrance. Every week in September, the students of Arthur Murray Dance Studio will present their Spotlight dance performances during special, themed Student Practice Parties. This Saturday – ‘Cartoon’. Multimedia Fountain Park – an evening special show
Location: Skwer Dywizji 1 (city center). Fountains operate every day from 8.30 am to 10.30 pm. The multimedia show at 9 pm (fountains, laser, music, and lights), free entrance. Warsaw by nigh – viewing platform of the Palace of Culture
Location: Viewing platform on the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science. It’s open every day 10 am – 8 pm. Sunday trading ban – stores are closed
In September 2018, there is a trading ban on September 9, 16, and 23. Trade ban does NOT include cinemas, restaurants, cafés, small local stores where the owner can work, stores at gas stations, flower shops, pharmacies. Shopping malls can be open but most of the stores inside will be closed (only cinemas, restaurants, pharmacies in shopping malls can be open). You can always do basic shopping at the gas stations (24/7).
‘Adventurous Nature Walk’ – educational walk for children and adults guided IN ENGLISH
Location: Wilanów Palace Garden, Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 Street, 11 am – 12.30 pm, meeting point at the ticket office (small yellow building).
