Sunday trading ban – stores are closed
In September 2018, there is a trading ban on September 9, 16, and 23. Trade ban does NOT include cinemas, restaurants, cafés, small local stores where the owner can work, stores at gas stations, flower shops, pharmacies. Shopping malls can be open but most of the stores inside will be closed (only cinemas, restaurants, pharmacies in shopping malls can be open). You can always do basic shopping at the gas stations (24/7).

‘Adventurous Nature Walk’ – educational walk for children and adults guided IN ENGLISH
Location: Wilanów Palace Garden, Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 Street, 11 am – 12.30 pm, meeting point at the ticket office (small yellow building). Natural Ice Cream Festival

Tennis Day
Location: PGE National Stadium (Stadion Narodowy), Al. Ks. J. Poniatowskiego 1 Street (Praga). Free entrance, 11 am – 7 pm. 50 mini-courts and 1 central court. Workshops, games, and contests for children and adults. Facebook event in Polish.

Sports picnic for children
Location: Agrykola Park (the park close to Royal Łazienki Park), free entrance, 11 am – 6 pm. Attractions include sports games, contests, workshops, face painting, soap bubbles, children’s football game. More in Polish.

Aquarium and terrarium fair, an exhibition of exotic animals and plants
Location: Sports Center at Siennicka 40 Street (Praga), 10 am – 4 pm, regular tickets 15 PLN, reduced tickets 10 PLN, children up to 6 free (online tickets). Facebook event in Polish.

‘Wilanów Days’ 
Location: the area next to the Royal Wilanów, 7.30 am – 9 pm, free entrance. Attractions include concerts, ‘Royal Running Festival’ (including children’s run at 2.45 pm), sports picnic (9 am – 4 pm). Facebook event in Polish.

Children’s Philharmonic / Filharmonia Dziecięca – music from Africa and Australia

Piaseczno Fair (Jarmark Piaseczyński) – ‘Shalom Piaseczno – meeting with Jewish culture’
Location: various locations in Piaseczno (Plac Piłsudskiego, Puławska Street, Kościuszki Street, Skwer Kisiela), free entrance, 12 pm – 7 pm. Railway Modeling Event (Giełda Modelarska)
Location: Warsaw Railway Museum (Stacja Muzeum), Towarowa 3 Street (Wola), 10 am – 2 pm (the Museum is open on Sundays 9 am – 5 pm). Weekend family picnic at the medieval castle in Czersk
Location: Czersk Castle (Zamek w Czersku), Plac Tysiąclecia 1, 05-530 Czersk (south of Warsaw, 45 km from the center of Warsaw), 12 pm – 6 pm.
