20+ ice skating rinks in different districts of Warsaw
When the temperature drops in Poland, it’s time to go ice skating. Warsaw has many rinks to explore if you’re itching to strap on the blades or learn skating. And it’s not just during Christmas that you can get your skates on, as there are plenty of rink options starting in late November.
The first ice rink in Warsaw (Torwar in the city center) opened for this season already in September! The ice rinks in Warsaw are usually open until February/March, weather permitting. Did you know Ursynów has an indoor ice rink (Figlowisko) open 24/7?
Skate rentals are available at most ice rinks in Warsaw, so you don’t need your own equipment (skate supports are usually available for skaters who need extra help). By ‘indoor’, we mean that a roof covers the rink or is inside a building.
It is always worth checking the ice rink’s website or Facebook page for updates before going out.

Location: Old Town Square, Rynek Starego Miasta (city center). Ice skates and support penguins can be rented on-site. An outdoor ice rink at Arkadia Shopping Center (November 21, 2025 – February 14, 2026)
Location: next to Arkadia shopping center, Jana Pawła II 82 Street. Opening hours: Monday-Saturday, 10 am – 10 pm, Sunday, 10 am – 9 pm. Ice skates and support penguins can be rented on-site. Tickets: 20 PLN per hour for adults, 15 PLN for children. More in Polish. For those who want to learn to skate, there are free classes with an instructor every Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 2 pm.

An outdoor ice rink in Praga, at Plac Konesera (open from December 1, 2025)
Location: Plac Konesera, Centrum Praskie Koneser (Praga). Opening hours: 10.15 am – 10 pm (75-minute sessions and 15-minute breaks, additional long 90-minute breaks 2.30 pm – 4 pm and a 30-minute break 6.45 pm – 7.15 pm). If you show a receipt for a minimum purchase of PLN 40 (for shopping or dining at the Koneser Center on that day), entry to the ice rink and rental are free. Torwar indoor ice rink (open from September 11, 2025, until mid-May)
Location: Location: Torwar, Łazienkowska 6A Street (city center). Opening hours: Tuesday 8 pm – 9.30 pm, Thursday 8 pm – 9.30 pm, Saturday 6.30 pm – 8 pm, Sunday 11 am – 12.30 pm (including a separate area for kids and people learning to skate) and 6.30 pm – 8 pm.
