OUR TIPS

Share

The Hotel is located 3-hour drive from Warsaw, in Olsztyn city (the capital of Warmia-Masuria Voivodeship), at the Ukiel lake (Przystań means marina). Advantages: a small private hotel beach, bigger public beach within walking distance (including water playground for children), sailing facilities, swimming pool, a small distance from the city center (in a case of rain, you can visit a museum or go the cinema).

What is available in English?

  • The whole website content: www.hotelprzystan.com/en/
  • There is also available German and Russian version of the website
  • The hotel staff speaks good English
  • Menu, kids menu, etc. are all available in English

How to get there?

  • The hotel is located about 215 km from the center of Warsaw
  • By car: It takes about 3 hours, depending on the traffic
  • By train: direct connection, about 2h 30 min (timetable in English: http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en). The Hotel is located 3 km from Olsztyn Zachodni stop

Activities for kids:

  • Outdoor:
    • Small private hotel beach (soft sand brought from the Baltic beach). Perfect especially for smaller children –  shallow part of the lake is fenced (kind of a wading pool). The beach is next to the hotel terrace with sun loungers (the area is served by the hotel restaurant, so you can even order your meal there)
    • (no outdoor playground!)
  • Indoor:
    • Playroom
    • Swimming pool (including wading pool and jacuzzi)
    • During holidays additional attractions, eg. sushi-making class for children
    • Table tennis
    • Foosball

Other relevant information:

  • About 5-10 minute walk from the Hotel (at the same lake), there is public beach and relatively new outdoor recreation center, including:
    • Water playground for children
    • Regular playground, trampolines
    • Rental of yachts, kayaks, canoes, paddling boats, jet skis, windsurfing boards, kitesurfing
    • Rental of bicycles, beach volleyball equipment (nets, balls), etc.
    • Squash (4 courts) and Fitness Centre
    • Changing rooms and toilets
    • Restaurants
    • Click here to visit the Sport and Recreation Centre’s website in English
  • Children under 4 stay for free
  • There is a Spa Center
  • Besides the Hotel restaurant, there is also “Przystań” restaurant located in a separate building next to the Hotel. It offers an interesting menu, including sushi. Nice change from eating at the Hotel;)
  • The Hotel accepts animals up to 5kg
  • Rooms
    • Some of the rooms have a small balcony or a terrace
    • When booking a room, check if a room has a lake view, so much better than a parking lot view;)
    • With small children, I wouldn’t recommend rooms with a private access to the lake (since the terrace / small deck doesn’t have any balustrade)
