Summer School at Thames British School Warsaw

Thames Language Academy, in association with Thames British School, invites children from other schools to their Summer School. The Summer School is dedicated to children aged 3-13 and runs from June 30 to July 25, 2025, in the Mokotów district of Warsaw.

  • Location: Thames British School, Mokotów Campus, ul. Józefa i Jana RostafiÅ„skich 1, 02-593 Warsaw (Mokotów). Location on Google Maps. The School is within walking distance of Metro Pole Mokotowskie, right next to a park.
  • When: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm. 1st week – 30.06 – 04.07, 2nd week – 07.07 – 11.07, 3rd week – 14.07 – 18.07, 4th week – 21.07 – 25.07.
  • Age: students aged 3-13.
  • Price: Early bird discount price, valid till May: 1290 PLN per week (including lunch). Regular price: 1450 PLN (including lunch).

Camp program and attractions

  • Focus on speaking skills/English speaking environment. The English courses combine a focus on natural English pronunciation with intensive speaking and listening practice to help students achieve English proficiency in their pursuit of academic excellence.
  • Qualified and native-level English teachers. The team is made up of native-level English speakers with years of experience in teaching English as a second language. They are skilled in using a variety of teaching methods that cater to different learning styles, ensuring each student receives personalised instruction.
  • Small and relevant groups. The groups remain small as this helps us to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning. All groups will be organised according to their level of English and age. Possible groups: Group #1 – 3-5 years old, Group #2 – 6-8 years old, Group #3 – 9-11 years old, Group #4 – 12-13 years old.
  • Mental Arithmetic and Brainfitness. Through interactive brain fitness games, kids will enhance their memory, speed, and logical thinking while developing math skills in an exciting way.
  • Trips. Every week, the summer camp takes children on exciting educational trips that combine fun, discovery, and hands-on learning. Week 1: Jungle Academy, Week 2: Animal Encounter, Week 3: Miniature Railway Museum, Week 4: NBP Money Museum.
  • Course structure. Each day encompasses three lessons of intensive English organised by language skill: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Other lessons focus on sporting achievement and skill development.
  • Oxford/Cambridge English programme. The courses are based on the Oxford and Cambridge English Language Learning Curriculum and are designed to empower learners to communicate confidently and effectively.
  • Catering. The catering is thoughtfully crafted to accommodate the diverse cultural and religious backgrounds of attending children and their dietary needs.

August Intensive English Course at Thames British School Warsaw

Thames Language Academy, in association with Thames British School, invites children from other schools to their Summer Intensive English Course. The Course is dedicated to children aged 6-16 and runs from August 18 to 29, 2025, in the Włochy district of Warsaw.

  • Location: WÅ‚ochy Campus, GÅ‚adka 31 Street, Warsaw. Location on Google Maps.
  • When: Monday-Friday, 9 am – 3 pm. August 18 – 22 – first week, August 25 – 29 – second week.
  • Age: students aged 6-16.
  • Price: Early Bird Package if paid before July 1: 2900 PLN (10-day course, sixty lessons). Regular Package if paid before August 15: 3500 PLN (10-day course, sixty lessons). Late Package if paid after August 15: 4000 PLN (10-day course, sixty lessons).

  • The goal is to fully immerse the children in an English-speaking environment, where they can refresh and enhance their English Language skills for a fast start in the new academic year.
  • English immersion. Focus on speaking and listening skills. The courses combine a focus on natural English pronunciation with intensive speaking and listening practice to help students achieve English proficiency in their pursuit of academic excellence.
  • Qualified and native level English teachers. The teachers are native level speakers of English from countries such as the UK, the US, and Australia. They all have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language.
  • Small and relevant groups. The groups remain small as this helps to identify individual needs, tailor instruction, and maximise learning. All groups will be organised according to their level of English and age. Offline lessons (on-campus) in small groups of up to 12 students ensure personalised attention and a supportive learning environment.
  • Course programme. The courses are primarily based on the Cambridge and Oxford English language learning curriculum and are designed to help students improve their competence and confidence in English.
  • Level of proficiency. The camp accepts children from Beginner to Advanced levels. Groups will be divided accordingly.
