What is available in English?

  • Most of the website content: http://kazimierzowka.pl/pages/en/home.php?lang=EN
  • The hotel staff speaks English

How to get there?

  • The hotel is located about 150 km from Warsaw, in Kazimierz Dolny
  • By car: It takes about 2,5 hours, depending on the traffic (quality of the roads is not the best). Google navigation may be useful since there are few ways to get there

Activities for kids:

  • Outdoor playground
  • Indoor playroom
  • Table tennis and pool table
  • Bicycle rental
  • “Interactive floor” in the reception area
  • Key tourist attractions of Kazimierz Dolny and surroundings: the old market square (rynek), the castle (zamek) tower and ruins, the Hill of Three Crosses (Góra Trzech Krzyży), the synagogue and the Jewish cemetery, many impressive gorges (wąwozy), cruises on the Vistula river during summertime
  • About 2 km from Kazimierz there is a small ski area where you can teach your kids how to ski (only Polish version available: http://stacjakazimierz.pl/)

Other relevant information:

  • The hotel is located in a quiet and picturesque area, at the same time close to the tourist attractions of Kazimierz Dolny city (300 m to the castle tower, 500 m to the ruins of the castle, 700 m to the old town). The only disadvantage is that the hotel is located in one of the highest points of the city, on the hill (the way back to the hotel on foot is more tiring for small children)
  • There is no indoor swimming pool
  • The hotel restaurant serves good quality food (Polish cuisine with the international touch), the only disadvantage is the long waiting time for meals (however it is possible to order by phone and come 30 minutes later). In the restaurant, there is a small kid-dedicated play area
  • There are only 23 rooms, which can be an advantage when staying with (especially smaller) children – breakfasts are quiet and not crowded, older kids can get around the hotel by themselves
  • No elevators
  • There are regular rooms as well as 3 suites perfect for a family stay (32, 49, and 62 m²) – the biggest one has 2 bedrooms and a living room
