Friday, March 2

Theater for children “Podróże Guliwera” (Gulliver’s Travels)
Location: Teatr Polski, Kazimierza Karasia 2 Street (city center). 12 pm (online tickets), 5.30 pm (online tickets), trailer.

New exhibition opening at the Museum of Modern Art
Location: “Museum on the Vistula” Pavilion, Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 22 Street (on the Vistula bank). “Edi Hila – Painter of Transformation”. Facebook event in Polish and English. Click here to read more in English about the exhibition. The Exhibition runs until May 6, 2018.

International Tournament in Acrobatics Gymnastics
Location: Wilanów Sports Center, Wiertnicza 26 A Street, free entrance, Friday 10 am – 5.30 pm, Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday 9 am – 5 pm. Facebook event in Polish. Read more in Polish.

Orchid Exhibition & Fair
Location: The University of Warsaw Library, Dobra 56/66 Street (Powiśle). The exhibition, fair, workshops (regular tickets 10 PLN, reduced tickets 5 PLN), 10 am – 6 pm. Facebook event in Polish.

“Cavaliada” – horse riding event (competition, fair, shows)
Location: Torwar, Łazienkowska 6A Street. Website in English, and Facebook page in Polish and English.

LEGO Exhibition
Location: PGE National Stadium, Al. Ks. J. Poniatowskiego 1 Street (Praga). Monday – Friday 10 am – 9 pm, Saturday – Sunday 10 am – 8 pm. Click here to buy tickets online. Website in Polish. The Exhibition runs until March 25.

Saturday, March 3

Live jazz & film screening for children (Poranki Jazzowe)
Location: Kino Muranów Cinema, Gen. Władysława Andersa 5 Street, 11 am, tickets 15 PLN. Live jazz music played during movie screenings for children. Facebook event in Polish.

Crocheting workshop for families

“¡Olé!” Flamenco workshops for children 
Location: Mokotów Cultural Center (Dom Kultury Kadr), Gintrowskiego 32 Street. Free entrance, you need to register. 11 am – 12 pm (children 7-9-year-old), 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm (children 10-13-year-old). Facebook event in Polish. Theater for little children – “Kółko i Kwadrat / Circle and Square” – performance for children 1-6-year-old

Free DIY workshop for children
Location: Nowy Teatr, Madalińskiego 10/16 Street (Mokotów). 2 pm – 4 pm. No need to book a place, you can join at any time. Facebook event in Polish.

Saturday Roller Disco (roller skating and rollerblading)
 Location: Wrotkarnia, Połczyńska 115 Street (Bemowo). 6 pm – 10 pm. Entrance fee + equipment rental (available sizes: 26-48) 24 PLN adults, 22 PLN children. Entrance fee 15 PLN adults, 14 PLN children. Facebook event in Polish. Children under 5 are not allowed in Wrotkarnia.

Slow Fashion Fair
Location: PGE National Stadium, Al. Ks. J. Poniatowskiego 1 Street (Praga). 11 am – 7 pm, tickets 10 PLN (2 days), children up to 12 years old free entrance. You can buy tickets online or at the entrance. Facebook event in Polish.

Easter Market
Location: Bielany Cultural Center, Goldoniego 1 Street, 11 am – 5 pm, free entrance. Facebook event in Polish.

Open Polish Championship for Indoor Aerobatic Model Aircraft
Location: “Koło” Sports Center, Obozowa 60 Street (Wola), tickets 2 PLN, Saturday 10 am – 7 pm, Sunday 8 am – 4 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, 12 pm – 3 pm – workshops for children. Please note that to enter the sports hall you need to change shoes. Facebook event in Polish. The Event program in Polish and English.

Theater for children 5+ “O rybaku i złotej rybce” (The Fisherman and His Wife)

“Sleeping Beauty” ballet and ballet workshop for children

Classical music concerts for children

“Children’s Day in March” 
Location: Konstancin Cultural Center (Konstanciński Dom Kultury), Mostowa 15 Street, 10 am – 8 pm, tickets 10 PLN (collected money will be transferred to the foundation supporting Child Care Home no 9 in Warsaw). Attractions include magical arts show (12 pm, 4 pm), theater for children (12.45 pm), concerts of children’s groups (1.15 pm), karaoke (2.30 pm), Zumba (3.30 pm), all day long: bricks workshops, fair of folk handicrafts. “Królowa Śniegu” (The Snow Queen) – puppet and actor show for children 5+

Please note that there are new regulations in Poland – starting from March 2018, stores can operate only 2 Sundays a month (usually first and last Sunday of the month). In March 2018, there is a trade ban on Sunday, March 11, and Sunday, March 18. Stores can be open on Sunday, March 4, and Sunday, March 25. Trade ban does NOT include cinemas, restaurants, cafés, small local stores where the owner can work, stores at gas stations, flower shops, pharmacies.
