Location: Syta 78 Street (Wilanów – Zawady).
Open Day during the Earth Day Picnic. It is perfect chance to explore the preschool, meet the team, and see how students learn through play. Alongside the activities, there will be a lovely selection of local sellers offering handmade ceramics, toys, honey, and more. Expect a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with plenty for children to enjoy, from crafts and planting to baking and sensory play.

About The English Playhouse (TEP)

Founded in 1998, The English Playhouse follows the English curriculum ensuring continuity of education for international families relocating to other countries. The English Playhouse schools are located in quiet and green areas of the Mokotów and Wilanów districts. The English Playhouse accepts children from the age of 1. At The English Playhouse, English is the only spoken language.

The English Playhouse – curriculum and program:

The Preschool curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Foundation programme set out by the British Government’s Department for Education and Skills. It also follows the requirements of the Polish Ministry of Education
The areas of learning are: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and design
As the English curriculum is known for its emphasis on literacy and numeracy development from an early age, The English Playhouse ensures this is done in a fun and creative way adapting to children’s abilities and personalities

The age range of students:

The English Playhouse accepts children as young as 12 months and up to 6 years old.

The language of instruction:

English
TEP is a truly international community – over half of their pupils come from almost 30 different countries. The children speak English not only during their lessons but also at playtime
TEP classrooms are home to a wide variety of nationalities, and whilst the School places great importance on the English language, it encourages children to embrace their own nationalities and share information about their home countries with their classmates which can be interesting and fun for all

TEP operates under an open admission policy and welcomes new students at any time through the year (subject to availability)

“We provide a safe and comfortable environment for our children. Our classrooms, play areas and eating areas are well equipped and certified. All our buildings have indoor and outdoor spaces for free play and other activities. Our classrooms combine the most up-to-date learning materials, comprehensive arts and crafts materials, educational games and toys designed to stimulate their imagination.”

Nursery Programme (7.45 am – 12.45 pm) – 2200 pln. All children born in 2022 – 2024. Extra hours available on request. 1500 zł “Aktywny Maluch” discount for children born in 2022 – 2024
Preschool Programme B (7.45 am – 3.15 pm). Fee per month – 3500 pln. Children born in 2022 and older
Preschool Programme B R/Y1/Y2 (7.45 am – 3.45 pm). 3600 pln. Reception, children born in 2019-2021
Preschool Programme C (7.45 am – 6 pm). 3800 pln. For all children

We aim to teach children respect to our environment and link our curriculum with the local community. We work closely with our parents and with their help we continue to enrich our curriculum through their involvement in school events. Parents are informed about the curriculum through curriculum letters, newsletters, and homework and curriculum workshops and are always warmly encouraged to get involved in school life.”
