About International Preschool TEQUESTA

Established in 2008, TEQUESTA offers education in English and Polish in the international and intercultural environment for children aged 1-6 in three locations in Warsaw – Mokotów, Żoliborz, and Białołęka. The Mission of International Preschool TEQUESTA is to provide optimal conditions to develop Children’s personality, satisfy their needs, foster their learning skills and interests.

Curriculum and educational offer:

  • The education is based on the curriculum in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Ministry of Education
  • TEQUESTA works with its own English language program preparing children for certification – YLE with British Council University Press accreditation. From the 1 year of life, Tequesta Nursery has two-way immersion education, in parallel with the Polish and English languages. Learning is a form of play so that the language is very fluent. The nursery prepares children to move on to the next preschool stage to continue their extended education in both languages
  • Techniques and methods implemented by TEQUESTA teachers include a project method, glottodidactics, active listening according to Batti Strauss, Montessori elements, Verona Sherborne Developmental Movement, mathematical education by E. Gruszczyk-Kolczyńska and others
  • The Preschool’s offer includes Spanish classes, music classes, clay workshops, ‘Biology’ – experimental activities as well as extra chargeable afternoon activities: dance classes, karate, robotics classes, ballet, swimming classes

“Our mission is also creating situations which arouse emotions in Children and motivating them to express their feelings, stimulating creativity and logical thinking. Our mission is to imbue the Children with attitudes and behaviors consistent with the principles of Etiquette, arousing openness and acceptance of everything what is multicultural, supporting Parents in the upbringing of young person who is open to the world.“

The age range of students:

  • TEQUESTA provides education for pre-school children aged 3 to 6 and also provides care for younger children from the age of 1

Languages of instruction:

  • The education is carried in two languages ​​- Polish and English

Tuition:

  • Registration fee: 1,500 PLN
  • Full-Day contract – entitles a child to stay in the Preschool from 7.30 am till 6.00 pm: 2,500 PLN monthly fee (additionally 20 PLN for meals per day)
  • Half-Day contract – entitles a child to stay in the Preschool from 7.30 am till 12.30 pm: 1,800 PLN monthly fee (additionally 8 PLN for meals per day)
  • Carnet contract
    • Full-Day contract – Carnet entitles a child to stay in the Preschool from 7.30 am till 6.00 pm – 130 PLN per day plus catering
    • Half-Day contract – Carnet entitles a child to stay in the Preschool from 7.30 am till 12.30 pm – 90 PLN per day plus catering
