About

  • Skaryszewski Park is located in Praga district. It was created in 1905. It’s one of the largest parks in Warsaw (smaller than Łazienki Garden and Pole Mokotowskie)
  • Kamionkowskie Lake used to be a part of Vistula river (today’s area of Skaryszewski Park and Saska Kępa used to be an island, and then a peninsula). The Lake is located within the Skaryszewski Park. Kayak rentals are available (swimming in the Lake not allowed)

How to get there?

  • By car: you can look for a free parking spot in the area of Aleja Zieleniecka Street, Aleja Waszyngtona Street or Grochowska Street
  • By public transport:
    • By metro (M2 line): Stadion Narodowy stop (requires about 10-minute walk, 1 km to Kamionkowskie Lake)
    • By tram (lines no. 7, 9, 22, 24, 25): Rondo Waszyngtona stop (requires a few minutes walk)
    • By bus (lines no. 102, 111, 117, 158, 166, 507, 517, 521): Rondo Waszyngtona stop (requires a few minutes walk)

Where to have lunch or coffee?

  • “Przystań” Restaurant is located on the shores of Kamionkowskie Lake, it serves pizza, soups, BBQ food, ice cream, etc.
