Free ferry across the river

“Po Wiśle” Cruises

Karski Boulevard (Bulwar Karskiego)

The revitalized boulevard by the Vistula, opened in 2015. It’s named after Jan Karski – the legendary Polish underground courier who was the first to report the genocide of the Jews to the Allies. The Boulevard hosts many cafes and restaurants.

Gardens of the Royal Castle

The Royal Gardens are open everyday (free entrance), 10 am – 9 pm (May 2 until September 30). Entrance from Wybrzeże Gdańskie Street or from the Castle.

Roof Garden of the Warsaw University Library

Museum of Modern Art

The Museum opened its new temporary exhibition pavilion in spring 2017. It’s called the Museum on the Vistula. Free entrance. Click here to read more in English on the Museum website.

Copernicus Science Centre

Mermaid Statue

The largest of the Warsaw mermaid statues (build in 1939), located next to the Świętokrzyski Bridge. The Mermaid of Warsaw (Syrena Warszawska) is a symbol of Warsaw. You will find another famous mermaid statue at the Warsaw Old Town Square.
