“Walk at dusk – discovering the secrets of nature”
Location: The Garden of Wilanów Palace, Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 Street, 6 pm – 7.30 pm. Online tickets (10 PLN). The event is dedicated to families with children aged 7-14. The Wilanów guides speak English and can answer questions in English. Facebook event in Polish.

Multimedia Fountain Park – an evening special show
Location: Skwer Dywizji 1 (city center). Fountains operate every day from 8.30 am to 10.30 pm. The multimedia show at 9.30 pm (fountains, laser, music, and lights), free entrance. Picnic at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW)
Location: Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) Campus, Nowoursynowska 166 Street (Ursynów), free entrance, 9 am – 3 pm. Attractions include birds of prey flight show (on Saturday, 12 pm – 1 pm, Facebook event in Polish), mini zoo, flower fair, visiting horse clinic, small animals clinic, police dogs and horses training. Warsaw Book Fair
Location: PGE National Stadium, Al. Ks. J. Poniatowskiego 1 Street (Praga), online tickets. New books and bestsellers, a chance to get an autograph, attractions for children and teenagers, comic zone. This year, France is a special partner of the Fair. Facebook event in Polish. “Warsaw of Comics” – Comics Festival (Komiksowa Warszawa)
Location: PGE National Stadium, Al. Ks. J. Poniatowskiego 1 Street (Praga). Facebook event in Polish. The Festival website in English.

Outdoor Fair in the Old Town – “Jarmark Zygmuntowski”
Location: Warsaw Old Town, next to the Castle Square and Sigismund’s Column, free entrance. Friday and Saturday 11 am – 9.30 pm, Sunday 11 am – 8 pm. Facebook page in Polish. The Fair runs until May 27, 2018.

“Everything Is Art to Me” – an art exhibition for children
Location: Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Plac Małachowskiego 3 (city center), 12 pm – 8 pm, regular ticket 15 PLN, reduced ticket 10 PLN, family ticket (4 people) 18 PLN, a ticket for 1 PLN dedicated to children. More about the exhibition in English. The Exhibition runs until June 3, 2018.

“Let’s bee friends” – an exhibition for children about bees
Location: Museum for Children, Kredytowa 1 Street (city center), part of the Ethnographic Museum, Friday 3 pm – 6 pm, Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday 12 pm – 5 pm. Traditional Asian play activities and games – an exhibition at the Museum of Asia

“Go Active” – Sports Trade Show
Location: Ptak Warsaw Expo, Nadarzyn, Al. Katowicka 62, Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, Sunday 10 am – 5 pm, online tickets. The event promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Learn more in English.

“Safe City” with LEGO

“Trilingual Tots” – workshop / playgroup with native speakers (English, Spanish or Chinese) dedicated to tots aged 6-18 months

The Long Night of Museums / Museums at Night (Noc Muzeów

Japanese Weekend at the Outdoor Breakfast Market in Żoliborz (Targ Śniadaniowy)
Location: corner of aleja Wojska Polskiego Street and Śmiała Street, 9 am – 4 pm. Breakfast Market is a weekend picnic where you can buy local, international, and organic food, and rent a picnic blanket. Attractions for families include origami, Japanese calligraphy, go, shogi, sushi workshop, karate show, dancing performance, live Japanese music. Facebook event in Polish.

“Wege Festival” – Festival of vegetarian food and family picnic for dog lovers
Location: Plaża Wilanów, corner of aleja Wilanowska and Klimczaka Streets. Vege Festival: 10 am – 7 pm, Facebook event in Polish. Family picnic for dog lovers: 8 am – 5 pm, Facebook event in Polish.

Warsaw Animals Day
Location: Agrykola Park (city center), 12 pm – 6 pm, free entrance. Picnic event promoting a positive attitude toward animals. The Event is organized by a shelter for dogsSchronisko na Paluchu. Facebook event in Polish.

“Pig in a Wig in Space” – theater in ENGLISH dedicated to children aged 2-9 
Location: Teatr SOHO, Mińska 25 Street, building no 74 (Praga). 2 performances: 10 am, 12 pm. Online tickets (35 PLN). Facebook event in Polish. Trailer in Polish and English.

Open workshop for children aged 4-8 in The Museum of Modern Art
Location: “Museum on the Vistula” Pavilion, Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 22 Street (on the Vistula bank). 12 pm – 3 pm, registration is not required, you can join at any time. Children free entrance, adults 1 PLN tickets. Facebook event in Polish. The Museum website in English.

Workshop for children aged 3-6: “The Customs of the Polish Highlanders”

Free traditional Indian yoga class in ENGLISH – “Yoga with Kirti”

Roller Disco (roller skating and rollerblading)

Weekend family picnic at the medieval castle in Czersk
Location: Czersk Castle (Zamek w Czersku), Plac Tysiąclecia 1, 05-530 Czersk (south of Warsaw, 45 km from the center of Warsaw), 11 am – 7 pm. Facebook event in Polish.

Guided tour in English – the Wilanów Palace – the history and design of the Palace interiors

Sunday, May 20

Bank holiday – Whit Sunday / Pentecost / Zielone Świątki
Bank holiday (always on Sunday anyway) – stores, malls, shopping centers are closed. Only some smaller local convenience stores can be open (eg. Żabka). Stores at gas stations are open every day, 24 h. The Day of Descent of the Holy Spirit – Zielone Świątki (Green Holidays). In Poland, some people decorate their homes with branches with green leaves.

“Adventurous Nature Walk” – educational walk for families guided IN ENGLISH
Location: Wilanów Palace Garden, Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 Street, 11 am – 12.30 pm, meeting point at the ticket office (small yellow building). Click here to buy tickets online (10 PLN). Location: Droga Golfowa 1 Street, close to the Vistula river, free entrance, 2 pm – 10 pm. Attractions include folk concerts, theater for children, folk dances. Facebook event in Polish.

“The Four Seasons” – live concert for children enhanced with visualizations on the planetarium dome

“Children’s Philharmonic” – classical music concerts for children
