International Festival of Street Theaters (Międzynarodowy Festiwal Sztuka Ulicy)
The Festival has started in June. Ice Cream Festival

“Sphere of Silence” Music Festival (Festiwal Strefa Ciszy)
Each July weekend, free concerts (music from different countries on several stages simultaneously) in Łazienki Royal Garden. The Festival website in English.

The Music Gardens Festival (Festiwal Ogrody Muzyczne)
Location: the Royal Castle courtyard (a huge air-conditioned tent decorated with flowers). Concerts and screenings – featuring classical music, ballet, and opera. Click here to read the program in Polish.

24th International Open Air Festival “Jazz at the Old Town” (Jazz na Starówce)
Free jazz concerts each summer Saturday (7 pm) until the end of August on the stage in the Old Town. Click here to read more in English.

Free summer open air concert (opera and operetta hits)
Location: Stawy Brustmana (Bielany / Wawrzyszew, click here to check the location on a map), free entrance, 6.30 pm – 8 pm. In a case of rain, the concert will take place in Bielany Cultural Center, Goldoniego 1 Street. Facebook event in Polish.

Multimedia Fountain Park – an evening special show each Friday and Saturday
Location: Skwer Dywizji 1 (city center). Fountains operate every day from 8.30 am to 10.30 pm. The multimedia show at 9.30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays (fountains, laser, music, and lights), free entrance. This season: “The Bear Prince Legend”. Celebration of U.S. Independence Day – an American-style block party
Location: Jan Twardowski Square in Warsaw, by Krakowskie Przedmieście Street (city center), 12 pm – 8 pm, free entrance. Attractions include American music, food, trivia contests, giveaways, sports, the interactive innovation area (robotics and 3D printing), the children’s zone will include face painting and fun crafts, a cake cutting at 4 pm. Asian Street Food Festival
Location: Bulwar Flotylli Wiślanej (the Vistula boulevard between Most Poniatowskiego bridge and Most Łazienkowski bridge), free entrance, 12 pm – 7 pm. Facebook event in Polish.

‘Open Ząbkowska’ Festival (Otwarta Ząbkowska)
Location: Ząbkowska Street (Praga), free entrance, 11 am – 10 pm. The Festival program includes concerts, art workshop for children and adults, art fair, an art exhibition. Facebook event in Polish. Detailed agenda in Polish.

Sunday trading ban – stores are closed
There are new regulations in Poland – stores can operate only 2 Sundays a month (usually first and last Sunday of the month). In July 2018, there is a trading ban on July 8, 15, and 22. Trade ban does NOT include cinemas, restaurants, cafés, small local stores where the owner can work, stores at gas stations, flower shops, pharmacies. Shopping malls can be open but most of the stores inside will be closed (only cinemas, restaurants, pharmacies in shopping malls can be open).

Railway Modeling Event (Giełda Modelarska)
Location: Warsaw Railway Museum (Stacja Muzeum), Towarowa 3 Street (Wola), 10 am – 2 pm (the Museum is open on Sundays 9 am – 5 pm). A chance to buy model railways and trains and meet railway modeling enthusiasts. During the event reduced tickets for everyone (6 PLN, children up to 7 free entrance). The Museum website in English. Animatsuri – Warsaw Festival of Japanese Culture

“Adventurous Nature Walk” – educational walk guided IN ENGLISH
Location: Wilanów Palace Garden, Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 Street, 11 am – 12.30 pm, meeting point at the ticket office (small yellow building). Click here to buy tickets online (10 PLN).
