OUR TIPS

Share
What is available in English?

  • The whole website content: http://www.csw.art.pl/index.php?lang=eng
  • The gallery staff in the ticket office speaks good English, in each gallery room there is a guard who unlikely speaks any English

How to get there?

  • The gallery is located in the city center next to Łazienki Royal Park
  • By car: At Plac na Rozdrożu turn into Agrykola street next to “Na Rozdrożu” café, then turn left in Jazdów street that will lead you to a gallery parking lot. Google navigation may be useful. The parking lot in front of the building, behind the gate, is dedicated for the Gallery staff exclusively. The parking lot for visitors costs 4 PLN per hour
  • By public transport:
    • By bus: 116, 166, 222, 180, 503 (bus stop: Plac na Rozdrożu)
    • By metro: Metro Politechnika stop (requires 15-minute walk – about 1,5 km, Google navigation may be useful)

The Gallery is closed on:

  •   Every Monday

Tickets:

  • Regular ticket: 12 PLN
  • Reduced ticket: 6 PLN (e.g. students, people over 65)
  • Family ticket (1 adult and kids): 20 PLN
  • Free admission on Thursdays (the Gallery is open until 9 pm!)

Where to have lunch or coffee?

  • Inside the gallery building, there are two restaurants. Next to the ticket office, there is the casual one: Instalacje Art Bistro, it’s open every day from 9 am and serves also breakfast, if the weather permits, you can seat outside (https://www.facebook.com/InstalacjeArtBistro/)
  • From the back of the building, there is another restaurant – Qchnia Artystyczna (Artistic Cuisine, English website: http://qchnia.pl/blog_eng/). The menu is seasonal and changes very often, it’s modern cooking but definitely inspired by traditional Polish cuisine. The restaurant has the beautiful summer terrace, probably the best in Warsaw

Other relevant information:

  • On the ground floor, there is a bookstore (many books available in English) that offers as well Warsaw souvenirs and (kind of artistic) toys
