About Multimedia Fountain Park

A fountain complex located in between the Old Town / New Town area and Vistula river, operating May – September and during winter season. The evening multimedia shows (fountains, laser, music, and lights) attracts many tourists. The Multimedia Fountain Park is free.

Winter illuminations in the 2020/2021 season 

  • The festive illuminations (including a special installation: thanks to the employees of medical services) are on from December 5, 2020.
  • In the 2020/2021 season there will be NO multimedia shows with music and lights.
  • Free entrance.

How to get there?

  • By car: you can look for a free parking spot in the Old Town area. Please, note it may take some time to find a free spot. There is a paid parking lot next to the Fountain Park, at Boleść Street. You can access it from Wybrzeże Gdańskie Street. 1 hour – 5 PLN, 2 hours – 11 PLN, 3 hours – 14 PLN, every next hour – 4 PLN. Please, note that during weekends, there may be no free spots.   • By metro (M1): Ratusz Arsenał‚ stop (requires about 17-minute walk, 1,4 km)
  • By tram (lines no. 1, 4, 6, 18, 28): Most Gdański stop (requires about 9-minute walk, 750 m)
  • By bus (lines no. 118, 185, 385): Sanguszki stop (requires about 2-5 minutes walk)

Where to have lunch or coffee?

  • “Fontanna”  Restaurant is located next to the Fountain Park, it serves mainly Italian cuisine. The Restaurant website in English. Click here to visit its Facebook page in Polish. Opening hours: Monday – closed, Tuesday – Friday 2 pm – 10 pm, Saturday 12 pm – 10 pm, Sunday 12 pm – 9 pm
  • There are also several seasonal/summer cafes, offering ice cream and BBQ food

Other relevant information

  • Next to the Fountain Park, there is a public playground and playing field

  • In case of bad weather conditions, the multimedia show is canceled
  • Next to the Fountain Park, during summertime, there is a free ferry (Prom Wilga) stop (close to Sanguszki bus stop), operating during summertime. It takes passengers to the Zoo stop. It’s a great option to visit Warsaw Zoo without a car:)
  • Visiting the Park with kids, you may consider taking a change of clothes since kids may play in the water;)
  • It’s a nice option to walk the Kościelna Street from the New Town Market Place, down to the Fountain Park

Summer 2019 shows

  • In 2019 summer season the Fountain Park operates from May 1 until September 28, 2019
  • Fountains operate every day from 8.30 am until 10.30 pm
  • Multimedia show (music, lights, water, and laser) each Friday and Saturday
  • May, June, and July: 9.30 pm
  • August: 9 pm
  • September: 8.30 pm
  • Free entrance
