About The Canadian School of Warsaw

Founded in 2000, The Canadian School of Warsaw (a preschool, elementary and middle school community) follows an innovative curriculum – combining the Polish and International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization educational programs. The School is located on three campuses in the Mokotów district.

The Canadian Preschool of Warsaw

  • Ignacego Krasickiego 53 Street (Mokotów)

The age range of students:

  • Four age-appropriate grade levels for children aged 3, 4, 5 and 6 years of age, respectively. With the consent of the Principal and the Managing Board, the Preschool may admit children aged above 2½ years of age

Curriculum and educational offer:

  • The Canadian Preschool of Warsaw follows the IB (International Baccalaureate) Primary Years Program 
  • The language of instruction: English
  • In order to give the Preschool students a broader choice for their future educational path, in the oldest groups The Canadian Preschool of Warsaw implements the official Polish Ministry of Education curriculum
  • Extra-curricular activities offered at The Canadian Preschool of Warsaw: piano, acrobatics, drama, soccer club, pottery, karate, chess club, speech therapy, ballet, corrective gymnastics, French atelier, dance, and tennis

Admission process:

  • Parents interested in enrollment are invited to visit the Preschool with their child. Recruitment interviews and show-arounds take place every day from Monday to Friday from 9 am till 1 pm, during these hours visitors can observe the actual teaching and learning process. Tuition:

  • 2 800 PLN monthly (10 months during a school year)
  • Admission fee: 2 000 PLN

The Canadian Elementary School of Warsaw

  • Bełska 7 Street (Mokotów)

Curriculum and educational offer:

  • The Canadian Elementary School of Warsaw follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in English, as well as the Polish national curriculum, as specified by the Ministry of National Education
  • Languages: students learn in English, yet additionally acquire both Polish and French language skills. The School believes that language is at the center of learning. Its goal is to create a community of avid learners, confident in at least two languages (English, Polish or French) other than their mother tongue
  • After school activities include: Swimming, Music (a variety of instruments), Foreign Language Classes, Karate, Art Studio, Emotional Intelligence, Crafts, Soccer Team, Parents courses, students clubs

Admission process:

  • The School operates under an open admission policy and subject to availability welcomes new students at any time through the academic year

Tuition:

  • Grade 1-3: 2 900 PLN monthly (10 months during a school year)
  • Grade 4-5: 3 000 PLN monthly (10 months during a school year)
  • Grade 6-8: 2 900 PLN monthly (10 months during a school year)
  • Registration fee: 2 000 PLN

The Canadian Middle School of Warsaw

  • Olimpijska 11 Street (Mokotów)

Curriculum and educational offer:

  • The Canadian Middle School of Warsaw follows the Polish Ministry of Education core curriculum supplemented by the IBO Program
  • Classes are conducted bilingually: in English and in Polish
  • After school activities include: science clubs (eg. Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology), artistic and sports clubs, complementary classes

Tuition:

  • 2 700 PLN monthly (10 months during a school year)
  • Registration fee: 2 000 PLN

Other information

  • The Canadian School of Warsaw runs Psycho-pedagogical Counseling Centre ‘Olimpia’ which offers services (eg. pedagogical therapy, general development classes for 2-3- and 4-5-year-olds, classes for gifted students, mediation in conflict situations, music therapy) to children, parents, and teachers – not only from The Canadian School of Warsaw. The Olimpia Center is located  at Olimpijska 11 Street (Mokotów)
